Day 48 (Oct 12)

Tobias had a quiet day today.  I tried to bother him as little as possible as a test to see if our interventions are causing additional stress and contributing to his storming.  He didn't storm and his heart rate reached the mid-one-teens, but came down without staying high for long.  He was as wide-eyed as I've ever seen him this morning, but he wasn't particularly responsive.

One interesting development was that his neurosurgeon dropped by to see him and assess whether the cranium can be glued back into his head.  He liked what he saw and said that he will speak with the rehab doctor to coordinate the procedure.  It could be as early as this week.

Hope over fear.
