    Update about Tobias - June to August 2022 - ¼ It has been a while since our last update. It also has been a while since my last entry in English. I apologize in advance about any funny mistakes. Lol We are home now, but the first part of my blog entry still happened in the "Clinic". The second part at home :) Tobias is taking a nap right now and that makes it easier for me to write. It still feels that I want to use every minute to move his body, make him practice talking and so on. Tobias turned into a project which sounds horrible I understand, but at times it feels like looking at an object and wondering on how to make it even better. It makes me jump to God, I still believe, believe it or not ;), I wonder sometimes if God looks at us the same way. “How can I make my child even better?” At times at works, because we listen to our inner voice other times we follow our ego strongly, because we just now better. Day 359 - Update and reflections on a Post Malone summer

In less than a week we'll see August 27th again.  That was the date last summer when Tobias collapsed at the home of my sister in Brigham City, Utah with a massive brain bleed.  911, ambulances, firetrucks and a life flight to the University of Utah hospital ensued.  One week ago Friday the rehab hospital in Brandenburg, Germany discharged him into our care at our home on the outskirts of Berlin.  Tobias spent two weeks shy of a year in various hospitals in the US and Germany.  First in the neurological ICU at the University of Utah, then at the acute care unit for a few weeks before entering rehab at the Nielson Rehabilitation Hospital, also part of the U of U hospital complex.  In December Tobias and I were the only passengers on a Leerjet 45 outfitted as a flying hospital room.  Three stops later we touched down in Berlin and Tobias started his tenure at hospitals and rehab centers in Germany.  Now, almost nine months after his transfer to Germ...
